In this process of researching the various sites given to us to explore for instructional classroom use has really gotten me to look within myself. I think with the advancement of Technology and the exposure of the social networks. My privacy is something that to a degree is not really mine anymore. With each site you sign up with your name, email think of a user name etc. and as I experience these sites (Face book, Twitter, etc.) and I get the status updates of my friends and they get to see my status updates. I see why I haven't jumped on the band wagon of the advancement in technology. I really understand that I'm a private person and this takes on a whole new dimension of being expose.
I like on Face book finding friends from high school, but I don't see the need for them to know what I'm doing every second or what they are doing or who's friends now etc. These things I realize I'm going to have to work out myself and try step out the box. I also with each site will have to see what privacy options are offered. I know it is something I will just have to work out for myself.
