Twitter is the latest and greatest I had been hearing about. Particularly on the news station Fox 5 in MD they always say, they are on Twitter. Come check us out on Twitter. I was curious, but never investigated. With taking the class Twitter was one of the sites we had to explore.
I'm not quite sure if I understand the full capacity of what it does or can do. I find it a little confusing, but maybe I need to use it a little more. It's a social network, but I think it could be used in the classroom using it as a collaborative lesson probably if you are studying a certain subject. The fact of getting up to date information is a positive. The negative side via educational planning, I think, would be keeping the students focused or on task.
